2024 Annual Report
Thanks to the generosity of the Lawrenceville business community, individuals and corporate support, in the past 33 years, we have been able to contribute more than $4.6 million to
fund 1,100 grants in Lawrence Township public schools, and nearly $103,000 in the 2023-2024 academic year alone.

The LTEF raises funds from individuals, local businesses, corporations, and foundations for programs that foster excellence, creativity, and achievement in education for all students in Lawrence Township public schools. Through grant requests from teachers and school administrators, the LTEF funds programs that will have a substantial and lasting impact on LTPS students.
Dr. Robyn A. Klim LTPS Superintendent
of Schools
“The Lawrence Township Education Foundation (LTEF) is a
vital partner in supporting our district's vision and advancing instructional excellence. We are profoundly grateful for their dedication and generosity, which provide essential resources
that enhance the creativity and innovation of our teachers, further cementing our instructional goals and propelling
the district forward. This valuable partnership enriches our community, and together we achieve more—we are truly
better together.”

AREAS OF IMPACT
-
This past year, LTEF funded more than $6,600 in support structures for students and classrooms, helping to ensure equal access to vital resources. This enabled schools to advance their learning goals for all students. Explore a complete list of grants, including those that benefit equity and inclusion initiatives.
-
We continue to fund important STEM initiatives and contributed more than $26,000 in this area during 2023-2024. Teaching STEM in our schools is critical to the development of our children as it helps to teach problem-solving, helps close the gender gap, and develops practical preparedness. Explore a complete list of grants, including those that benefit STEM education initiatives.
-
Arts and cultural education provide intrinsic enrichment opportunities, but they are an essential avenue for our students to engage in a broader context with the potential for deep and profound meaning. Supporting these programs helps create positive social environments which have been demonstrated to yield greater civic participation and gradual residency growth; reduction of neighborhood, ethnic, and class divisions; and decreased truancy, delinquency, and poverty rates. This year, we provided nearly $23,000 in grants for Arts & Cultural Enrichment. Explore a complete list of grants, including those that benefit ARTS education initiatives.
-
Our dedicated educators asked for numerous social emotional learning focused grants. LTEF answered that call by providing over $9K in grants throughout the district. Explore a complete list of grants, including those that benefit Social Emotional learning initiatives.
-
We continue to fund important Humanities related initiatives and contributed more than $11,000 in this area during 2023-2024. Teaching Humanities in our schools is critical to the development of our children. Explore a complete list of grants, including those that benefit from the Humanities education initiatives.
Amy Amiet, Principal, Eldridge Park School
“One of the most incredible things about the LTPS community is the support and generosity of the LTEF. LTEF grants have been an integral part of giving our students equitable classroom experiences as well as allowing our teachers to "reach for the stars" and bring dreams to life for our school communities. Experiences ranging from enhanced recess equipment, to makerspace carts in each library, to artists in residence working with our students on various passion projects our students are afforded the opportunity to learn and grow from the opportunities that the LTEF funds. Thank you LTEF for believing in our ideas and supporting ALL of our school communities through your tireless work.”
LAWRENCE HAS TALENT
During the 2023-2024 school year, the LTEF was looking for ways to add much needed revenue and to find a new way to reach more community members. Based on Morris OnStage, Lawrence Has Talent was a talent show that was able to highlight 14 acts of amazing talent within our Lawrence community. Over 300 people watched the acts in April 2024 and the LTEF was able to give 4 prizes worth $3,000. Below are photos from the 2024 event.
We need your help! Each year, the LTEF is unable to fund roughly $40,000 in grant requests. Serving our students, our educators, and our schools is our mission, and to continue to make our public schools exceptional places for creativity and learning, your support is more important now than ever.
Please give a gift of any size today. Thank you for your ongoing support. Best wishes for a safe and healthy 2025.
